Yoga is well-known to ease back pain, anxiety and general wellbeing. The alternative treatment for back pain is via opioids, which has the risk of addiction and are effective in only 60% of the cases. Considering again yoga, a study has shown that this technique, guided by an instructor, can effectively reduce chronic pain within six to twelve months.
